With gorgeous hair and the stance of a professional dancer, our face of the month, Duygu was a sight to behold on the boulders and rocks at Llandudno beach in the perennial summer city of Cape Town. We are more than lucky to have had Duygu to shoot photos with while we were missioning through the city of Cape Town for streetstylers…and the fruits of our labours can finally be seen… We kept the wardrobe to a minimum, with cardigans, a silk camisole, two pairs of sunglasses (Armani and Triwa), jumpsuits, an amazing foulard (which was our nod to the holiday esprit of Hermés) and a skirt that just said ‘holiday’ to us…and kept the make-up barely there, and sun-kissed. After all, when on holiday, one should reveal bronzed skin in all its natural glory. Duygu, who is still based in the harbour city of Hamburg, was holidaying in South Africa and like all good things, it all just fell into place that we could meet up and have the most amazing backdrop for our shoot. With the wind playing havoc (in the Cape, it has a mind of its own) and the sun setting, it was an amazing time and setting for these photographs, and Duygu, always the daredevil, was more than willing to climb up rocks and jump between sea pools to give us the images we just had to have… |
