When we come across a picture like the one above, we have to post it...it is just too good to ignore...add to this the quintessential care-free spirit and you have a winning combination. Thank you Sarah for the wonderful image and of course La Madeleine for the great photography...it may be heard too often, but the French just have a way with fashion and style...Sarah Kheira Ghenissa
As the season changes, there is more need to wrap up and deciding what to wear can be a mission. That is why for many women, the ideal cover up for this period is a good and trusty poncho. Take this next look, discovered in good old Paris: our model makes the pattern really pop by combining only gold accessories and black boots and jeans. A good decision indeed.
Our hot new label discovery is called Erotokritos and is produced in Nicosia, Cyprus where the designer was born and raised. The name alone makes you pay attention and after seeing the full collection in Paris, we are in love . Using european yarns and fabrics and this collection has great knits and basics for men and women. If you are in Paris, drop by at their store at 109 Bd Beaumarchais. We love the patterned looks and from the new collection, here are a few of our favourite looks…

It seems that autumn is steadily heading our way. We have the colder mornings, followed by warm days and then chilly nights. These are the days where we are unsure what to wear and how to incorporate our summer into our winter wardrobes. Some say that now is the time to layer…we say, get your hands on a good coat and let that be your statement piece. Our next Paris look is wonderfully elegant. We love the Margiela coat (here you can never go wrong) and the minimal touches she adds to her look, like the ever-cool Converse sneakers.
Our top coats are as follows, all from farfetch.com (the website that does the online sales for our new fave store in Paris, Tom Greyhound). We love this oversized olive coat from MM6 Maison Margiela, selling at 630 euros. Then, this perfect long grey MSGM coat (paired with faded jeans and camel would be amazing) priced at 565 euros. Finally, break your piggy bank with this ultra hip, graphic coat by Roksanda, retailing at 1845 euros.

Today is cold…at least this is how I am feeling…the temperature has dropped 15 degrees and we are experiencing our first autumn feeling in Switzerland. The season is changing and we are sad to be saying adieu to summer. So, befitting such weather we are posting a hot look from Paris, and this time the boys are in focus. We love the Kris Van Assche sweater. It is graphic without being too bold. Add to this the eternally cool sneakers and obligatory black jeans the French cannot live without and you have a cool, urban look with just enough fashion clout.
Our designer fashion shopping stop has to be Tom Greyhound, situated on 19, rue Saintonge in the Marais district. We love the eclectic collection, to-die-for designers and of course the ultra modern feel of this Korean store. For more details, visit them online at tomgreyhound.fr
To get you around the city, try these great Alexander McQueen sneakers, retailing at 460 euros. Also, try this gorgeous Kenzo jumper, selling at 370 euros to keep the cold at bay. Finally, try this amazing college jacket from Saint Laurent, retailing at 1590 euros.

From the fuzzy hat, to the modern print skirt, to the silver knitted sweater…and those tights!

There’s a rumour that these could be the last few days of summer, and I hope this is not the case….I still want to feel the sun on my feet and of course, enjoy the evenings without a jacket…and I thought why not do a sunglasses special? So, here is a look from the Paris streets…she is German, but clearly doing what the French do best: highlighting a key piece and toning down the rest. That is why these sunglasses pop out when combined with fashionable black.
Our mission is as follows…find sunglasses to make summer more fun! Here are a few we discovered: chain temple shades in tortoise-shell from & Other Stories, selling at 12 pounds. Or how about a pair of glitter cat-eye sunglasses from Zara, selling at 12,95 euros? Or be a diva with these gorgeous black ones by Roberta Cavalli, on sale at nordstromrack.com, at 119.97 dollars.

You are all going to think I am insane for posting a winter coat when all of Europe is in a sweltering heat, BUT for my followers in the south, this will warm their winter-frosted hearts. This is another look spotted on the streets of Paris, and I thought we could all do with a bit of Fendi. We love the mix of taupe, light grey and tan. She keeps her accessories simple and understated, allowing this gorgeous coat to do all the talking for her. Thumbs up for this Swedish model and her amazing outfit!
We love a good laid back look as any other…we love the louche feeling and of course the easiness it allows us to move around in. Our next Paris look manages to pair the perfect hairstyle and outfit in one go. We love the leo meets preppy cardigan and the salute to old school via the vintage Adidas trainers. Thankfully she keeps the rest minimal, by simply adding a nautical twist with the blouse and skin tight trousers.
Our address to shop at is Leon and Harper, situated at 12 Rue Saint Fiacre…just a small leap from concept store Merci. Here you will find awesome clothes and here are three pictures from their lookbook…so, if you want something the French would pick up, head on out and pop in!

The boys are definitely back in town and with our next Paris look, and we are in love with the understatement. The structured jacket is wonderful when paired with the classic t-shirt and of course, low-hanging trousers just make the effect even more relaxed. We love the bangle by the way and don’t even get us started on that great hair!
For some great staples, head on to Surface To Air, where you will find some edgy, yet good quality products to boost your wardrobe. Our hit list includes: this denim Bob shirt on sale at 80 euros, this pop reversible bomber on sale at 195 euros and this fluo jumper on sale at 90 euros.

The sweater look has moved into my closet and I think it is there to stay. Let’s face it, nothing compares to the wonderful comfort you feel when you slip out of those tight jeans and pull on your track pants, or jogging trousers as some like to say. If Karl Lagerfeld went from loathing these items of clothing to sending them down his Chanel runway, then we are also ready and definitely willing to welcome these pieces into our lives…after all, you can combine these sweat pieces as you like.
Take our next Paris look…she mixes patterns (which is always a favourite here at Dashing George HQ) and manages to integrate old classics like Adidas sneakers into this cool look. We love the swept back hair and a smile on the dial just makes our fashion hearts leap!
For great sweaters, we turn to Hamburg label, Closed. We love the wonderful new interpretations with careful tailoring and of course, new fabrics that are a dream to wear. We love the Moss Crepe sweater, on sale at 189 euros. A melange print sweater is always a super basic piece and we love this ‘Nice’ one, on sale at 75 euros. Finally something from the new collection, try this light melange grey ‘incomplete’ sweater, priced at 99 euros.
