There is a prediction of snow over the weekend, so packing a suitcase for a holiday seems to be the right thing to do. We are off to Bali to recharge and rejuvenate and will be back in December...so if you are in Europe or USA, wrap up and keep warm and if you are in the southern hemisphere, then enjoy the summer sun...

Here it finally is and a big thank you to all of you who managed to make this project work. It has been surprising to see what you have photographed and for that, I am thankful and happy…for the full editorial, please click on the Bombe du Mois button above!
Picture Credit: hdwallpapers.cat As we are starting our festive season, Dashing George has decided to do a very special Bombe du Mois this month and thanks to a few remarkable ladies, we have a great surprise in store for all of you...so watch this space for more...
Picture credit: postarts.net Nuremberg at first glance may only be about old buildings (although most was rebuilt after the war) and of course, the world famous market place. Beyond all this, is a city centre that has a lot to offer, although there are thousands of tourists always getting in the way! While the fashion scene may be a bit sedated, there are indeed many wonderful people walking the streets, with major charm and clever fashion ideas.
Our model above, had this wonderfully simple and yet, striking outfit...black and white, favoured by the likes of Chanel, is not as easy as it was to pull off. There has to be something remarkable to make it stand out. I love the large spectacles and the luxe look of the jacket. The Nikes are of course my favourite as I love being comfortable above everything else! With Europe going into autumn, the southern half of the globe naturally goes into spring...so before we head direction winter, I thought it would be good to post something uplifting from a friend of mine. She was a Bombe du Mois and here she is, putting her fashion foot forward in Johannesburg, South Africa. We loved the picture because it is so happy...have an awesome day, all you wonderful people!
Many thanks to Bluebird for their awesome work. You can find them on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/BlueBird-photography-ZA-767087453436007/ It is Sunday and with breakfast just finished, I felt the need to post something a bit more spiritual. As this blog focuses on people and those who inspire, i thought a bit of nepotism is allowed once in a while. Pictured above is my cousin, who is a skilled and mega talented dancer, her focus being classical Indian dance. I love the pose and her expression in the photograph and wanted to share this with you...have a wonderful Sunday and a good start to the new week.
We have been busy. Katharina and I welcomed a new member to our family and it was a whirlwind weekend in Cologne...the newborn is beautiful and well behaved (two things we love) and he arrived just in time to be a Halloween baby...so he is guaranteed a party EVERY year!
On to other things, we are now opening the Nuremberg file further and then we will be presenting our finds in the Bavarian city of Munich...so, stay tuned for more images and streetstyles to make your day just that much brighter... Picture Credit: Jürgen Küssow |
