At 19 Boulevard du Jeu de Paume, you will find a store that definitely sticks out from the others in Montpellier. Here, there are curated decoration pieces that are not only affordable, but also a must-have for any fans of clean minimalism. The dominating colour in this palette is definitely white, but there are marvellous Scandanavian brands to make your heart beat faster, like Pakhuis Oost, Authentics, the Belgians Pomax and Serax...to name just a few. I fell in love with the vases and was disappointed I could not take any with me because packing would have been a nightmare later, but I will be back and this time for much, much more. So, if you are looking for something special, try this shop for some amazingly clever pieces.
There is nothing more exciting than running into a woman who clearly knows what to wear. Add years of experience to this scenario and you can see the attention to detail, the pride taken in choosing just the right shade of stockings and the cleverly curated accessories. To be honest, the hat caught my attention and I was fortunate enough not to find her alone. Her friend, clearly delighted that I wanted a photograph, translated what I wanted to say and I was so thankful for that. For a few minutes we chatted about her outfit, why she was in such a rush in Toulouse and how excited she was that a blogger wanted her of all people for a post. This humble approach made me even happier to add her to my list of extraordinary faces captured in Toulouse and I am more than grateful for our translator who smiled on from the sidelines.
