Reagan, a new face discovered on a tour of the Waterfront, Cape Town, is always on the lookout for a fresh look, a new style, the ever-chameleon...and this is something to admire...here, at Dashing George, we sit up and pay attention when someone has change in mind and follows it through with maximum style...so, the dreads are amazing...and the perfect inspiration for the start of the weekend.
From the city that welcomed me to the US, I have a great picture of streetstyle star Matthew. I love the foliage and of course the statement necklace is beyond cool. As the trees and leaves start to change shape this side and autumn beginds to say hello, it is good to post something this green to remind me that it won't be cold for too long...only six months!
Sometimes we need important events in our lives to wake us up from all the negativity that surrounds us every day. Sometimes we need two people saying 'I Do' to remind us about love and all the possibilites it can bring. Sometimes we just need a fabulous wedding...and the right gown. Pictured above is my friend, Tammy, who has tied the knot, and in grand style...I wish you both a lifetime of wonder and joy...
It is a definite autumn day and to chase away these Monday blues, I have decided to post this image of Georgina, who always manages to pull off a look without it looking too forced. I LOVE the hair, a definite ode to big hair and of course, the golden colour is enough to brighten this rather damp mood I am in.
My cousin Romy has this awesome dog, Frankie, who has about the same fashion bravado as her owner...hence, when I saw this to-die-for bow-tie, I had to share it with all of you...canine fashion, long the tired joke of America's Funniest Home Videos, is making a comeback and I am glad to be able to post this!
Back in Switzerland after a week in Freiburg and now I have to post something extra special...and this time it is fashion, home-grown in South Africa, making waves around the world. Say a big hello to MAXHOSA by Laduma knitwear, a range delevoped with much love and dedication by Laduma Ngxokolo. It is his love for tradition, having discovered a need to create elegant Xhosa-inspired knitwear that is both modern and easy to wear. With our second burst of summer in full swing, I am packing another suitcase and heading towards the Black Forest...capturing looks and new faces to add inspiration to your day. Have a wonderful weekend and of course a good start to the new week...
