I am starting to feel like a gypsy. Just unpacked one suitcase and now contemplating the next one. Prague was very hot, with temperatures soaring to 34 degrees...and add thousands of tourists to the mix and you will understand why I have to conclude that this city should be visited in late September....more about that later. For now, I am going to investigate the weather prognosis for Montreux and plan my packing accordingly...you be good and fabulous, as always.

This will be the second time I am visiting this city, but this time with far better weather (if the forecast is to be believed). I am intrigued to see what has changed in Prague and what is new...judging from the blogs, there is a lot going on in this city and I will be showing you all my finds as soon as possible...so stay tuned.
Picture credit: aperturetours.com When in Montpellier, you should do yourself a favour and stop by at this wonderful restaurant that surprised and delighted me. From the starters of samoosas with goats cheese, honey and mint and the foie gras tatin with spiced bread, to the mains of duck with risotto and the fish skewer with chorizo, to the dessert of spiced biscuit tiramisu and the chocolate layered mousse with strawberries and salted caramel, everything was delicious. Add to this great service and good plating and you have a perfect evening, rounded off with plenty of French wine. You can find the restauarant at 20 rue des Ecoles Laïques. Enjoy! This 3 store concept in Toulouse is definitely on my list of to-do's in the city which has so much shopping potential, you may need an extra suitcase when visiting. Trait offers the shopper three worlds: paper, objects and furniture. These stores are, from a design point of view, packed to the brim with gorgeous items (I brought home a marble lamp that now stands pride and centre on my dining room cabinet) that make buying gifts a dream come true. From quirky, to elegant, from bright and cheery, to neutral tones, this chain offers a range that makes my heart very, very happy. You can find them at 60 Rue des Tourneurs (for paper), 3 Rue St Pantaleon (objects) and 4 Rue Paul Vidal (furniture), or visit them online at www.trait.fr
Rocking a short fringe is never easy...there are so many people against this look, but when the right face is teamed up with the perfect hair length then it is a wonderful sight to behold. Case in point, this stylish streetstyler in Toulouse, who was kind enough to pose for me (I literally snatched her out of her store). Toulouse has a lot on offer....from interesting people, to wonderful fashion and food...more about that, later.
When a very stylish woman crosses your path, you have to recognise the amount of work and attention to detail that goes into creating an 'effortless' look. Teaming up a black trench, lime green and hot pink top and pleated wool can be tricky, but this was not the case in Toulouse when I was fortunate enough to run into this streetstyler. Add to this mix some serious creole earrings and statement sunglasses and then you have some serious head-turning happening.
