The world is hurdling towards spring (at least in Europe and the States) and fashion wise we are glad to be wearing fewer layers each day. We are happy to have yet another redhead and she was also discovered in London on our streetstyle missions. We love the shorter sleeves on the blazer (makes us think she could literally roll up her sleeves and get to work) and of course the brooch worn cleverly to add a masculine touch. The trousers are perfect with the boots (we love the old fashioned appeal of laced-up ankle boots and of course, the fact that she boldly mixes brown and black warms our hearts here at Dashing George. We love it when our streetstylers go against convention!
We do another one-stop shopping tour at Toast (our fave no fuss, wonderful clothing online store), where we found these great finds: we love this jumpsuit with white dots, retailing at 169 pounds, then we bring on the colour with this bright yellow coat selling at 149 pounds and finally we found the perfect boots to combat any weather as spring is rather unpredictable, so try these Olivia boots retailing at 290 pounds.

A redhead will always make us want a picture…and in London even more so. Here the typical ‘English rose’ has a tougher edge and fashion clout to boot. The name synonymous with British fashion is of course Alexander McQueen and even though he is no longer with us, his style and spirit lives on in the brand. We love the following streetstyle look as it is a fully McQueen and of course anything monochrome is always a bonus for us. Our model also gets a ‘thumbs up’ for her simple make up and accessories…this gives the outfit centre stage indeed!
Our top three McQueen looks from the latest arrivals has got to be this amazing double petal slit jacket, priced at 2295 euros, this black ruffle knit mini dress retailing at 2530 euros and lastly, show your toes in these lotus flower peep-toe booties selling at 795 euros.

Our next look comes with a bit of a bang. We love the mesh shirt and of course all black works a charm on us always. We love the silver and of course the sculpted back hair. It is a look that is complete Unconditional UK, and in case this label is new to you, visit the online store at unconditional.uk.com to see more
We have three faves from the womens wear and they are as follows: up first this amazing black leather short sleeved t-shirt, retailing at 359 pounds, then this black fully sequinned sleeveless jacket with inner chiffon dress selling at 599 pounds and finally bring out the colour punch with this pink sleeveless blouse with back split retailing at 199 pounds. For the full shopping experience, visit them at 16 Monmouth Street in London…

Okay, just saying the word ‘culottes’ can be daunting , but we, here at Dashing George, believe that every clothing item deserves a fair chance. Take our next model, who chose a blue corduroy pair and teamed it up with a great pair of thick soled sandals. We love the blue and white mix (I personally love, love, love corduroy as it takes me back to the dungarees I was forced to wear as a child), the wavy hair and of course, keeping the volume on top really reduced to balance out the look.
Some may believe that these trousers are unflattering but they DO lengthen the body, are mega comfortable, are easy to dress up by simply adding a blazer and heels AND they are available in wonderful colours and fabrics…there is something for everyone here!
Our top 3 come from asos.com and are as follows: try this khaki pair retailing at 59,99 euros, then go bohemian with a printed number by Abercrombie & Fitch, selling at 57,99 euros and finally inject a bit of Saville Row with this houndstooth checked pair, priced at 64,99 euros.

Occasionally I come across an outfit that makes me stop dead in my tracks. It may be a bag that completes the look, or even just the right make up, but something stands out and makes me want to just have it for the blog. Take our next look. The shoes are amazing. They complete the look somehow, by injecting some colour into what could have been a rather dark look. We love the orange business bag and of course the Japanese style skirt adds a funky twist.
Our top three Topshops shoes are as follows: try these all black heels retailing at 77 euros or these crème and black heels by MISS KG, selling at 98 euros. Finally channel a bit of Valentino with these strappy nude court shoes, priced at 68 euros.

What a whirlwind we have been having. Just back from Cape Town, bronzed and ready for the new streetstyles to get you all salivating…and now we have something very special. We love this next look for so many reasons.
Firstly, the skirt is absolutely mega. It has contrasting panels with a great pattern. We are so loving patterns and clever detailing this season. The suede shoes are marvellous too as they add a punch of colour to balance out the black top. The sleek hair and metallic nail polish finish off the look perfectly. All in all, a great look with just the right amount of attitude.
We go one-stop shopping at matchesfashion.com and hope you like our top 3 skirts: up first we have a great striped number by Tibi, selling at 828 euros, then blow your budget with this white one with motifs from Stella Jean, selling at 2080 euros. Finally, welcome spring with this gorgeous Erdem skirt, selling at 692 euros.
