Challenging and also out of the ordinary...this is what struck me about our next face. I love the openness he had when we met on the street...and the very casual approach he had to posing...all in all, the nod to seventies chic via the awesome sunglasses and wild hair, mixed with the spot-on trendy jeans and sneakers, made me HAVE to snap him up for all of you.
It is almost time for our new Bombe du Mois and this time, with the kind permission of a new photographer to our pages, South African-born and bred, Luke Hagemann, I am pleased to be working on the final touches of this month's edition...so, watch this space for the full editorial!
Photogrph credit: Luke Hagemann Helsinki, home to 29% of the Finnish population, has a lot to offer. I was surprised and delighted to see that they truly embrace visitors, making you feel at home by flashing smiles and being approachable. Helsinki may be a bit on the expensive side, but with this comes the welcomed cleanliness and seaside charm, making you forget about the price of your beer...it is a city with wondeful monuments, a good gastronomy scene and easy walking tours, making the city feel smaller than it really is...and the people-spotting was exceptional...
When you consider how important time is, then, it is no wonder that a good timepiece is vital to not only be punctual, but also, to be ahead of the fashion pack...thanks to Cornavin, this gorgeous model (CO 2012-2001R), is now available...and I love the bold face and metal finish. The company, headed by two very talented and wonderful personalities, Souraya and Omar, is one to definitely keep an eye on!
Picture Credit: Instagram/@mister.mili I am just over two weeks into the new year and already so much has happened...it is true that, as my grandmother used to say, 'when God closes a door, he opens a window'...which , now that I am typing it, makes me think that she may have stole that from a film, but, back to what I am trying to type here...yes, change. Katharina has left Dashing George after a good three years and I wish her all the very best with her future plans, conquering the world, making waves and making her mark...here, at DG headquarters, it is business as usual, with me sorting through images and tuning a few pieces for you, while I spent the first week and a half battling my first cold in over two years! A record for me. Still, I am sorry for the absence and I have missed blogging...so, onwards and forwards...let's make 2017 a fabulous one...a year filled with groundbreaking events and trail blazing actions...
